I use the advance search for Twitter all the time.

You need to know about the power of deep Twitter searches.

Experiment with different parts of the advanced search form.

If you want to find people to follow, this is one great way to find people close to a specific area or talking about a specific subject.

You can also add operators to the normal twitter search to access the functionality of the advanced search.

I’ll put search queries in quotes all the time. “I need help” pulls up different results than if you leave off the quotes.

The Twitter search tool is often overlooked as a great resource.

Use it to keyword track by doing a search (for example: “My Business Name”)
In the right side close to the top look for “Feed for this query.”
Click “Feed for this query.”
Here you can choose to subscribe to this Twitter search query as a RSS feed.
Choose your RSS feed reader application and click “Subscribe Now.”
