Help From Thesis Support for Graphic Header

My new blog (within this blog) called DailyTwitGoal had different needs from this blog.

I wanted to have a graphic header rather than the text based one.

I’m using the Thesis theme for WordPress so these instructions are specific for this theme.

1st I needed Help from the Thesis Support Forum.

Click -> Appearance
Click -> Thesis Options

At the top of the page you will see these buttons:
Thesis Theme WordPress Buttons

I looked under DIYthemes Answers and the User’s Guide but I didn’t find a quick answer. So I clicked on Support Forums. I’ve been to the Thesis Forums before and know that it is easy to get information here.

DIY Themes Forums

I clicked on “search” and entered “header image.”

Close to the top was this question:

Easiest Way to put jpeg logo in header please

Which had my answer. I need to add some code to the custom.css page. The custom.css page is where you can put code that Thesis will use to make you blog custom to what you want.

Here is the code I used:

.custom #header { border-bottom:none;
center left no-repeat; }

.custom #header #logo { display:none; }

.custom #header #tagline { display:none; }

I added this code to my custom.css page and added the path to my graphic. So now I have a graphic header on the Daily Twitter Goal blog.
